LATE-NIGHT SHOPPING IN ABERDEEN, my first (very short) play, formed part of Whatever Gets You Through The Night, a new collaboration between writers, theatre-makers and musicians, which premiered at the Arches in Glasgow in June 2012 and went on to a week-long run at the Queen’s Hall during the 2013 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
TAKE YOUR PARTNERS will, hopefully, be my first full-length play, about Scotland, dancing and tradition. You might have heard me reading excerpts from the first part, Country Dancing 1994, at various live events. Here’s a blog about some of my research.
A TUESDAY IN JUNE was a short play I wrote in response to the 2013 police raids on Edinburgh saunas. It was first performed at Tron Theatre, Glasgow, in October 2013, as part of the Reclaim The F-Word season.
